Year 1 - Blog 2
Year 1 are so ‘Thankful’ for all the wonderful things we have done this term!
At the start of this term we celebrated Bonfire night- which is also our topic this term! We had a visit from Mr Lockwood from Thame Fire station who spoke to us all about staying safe over this wonderful time of celebration. We enjoyed asking him questions and found his answers very interesting.
Also this term we have been remembering all of the men and woman who have and are still looking after us fighting wars. We had a wonderful visit from the War Horses who were dressed up to resemble horses that fought in World War 2. We especailly enjoyed feeding them carrots!
Finally we have had a visit from Blue Cross who came in to teach us how to look after animals and what they need to survive.
We would all like to say a BIG THANK YOU to all our guests!
