Copper Class - Blog 1
Last term our topic was festivals and celebrations. What a perfect time to have this topic, what with Diwali and then Christmas celebrations! Most children in copper class spent a lot more time in their classes in the main part of the school. Copper class had a lot of visitors including Mrs Davis, who played the piano and sung songs as part of a nurture group. We also welcomed pupils from across the school to join us for art therapy ran by Mrs Broughton and social skills groups. Miss Brooks took us on a mushroom hunt at forest school. Our trip this term was to the relaxed showing of the pantomime at Aylesbury Waterside theatre, what a fantastic experience! This was finished off by having an extra special treat of a McDonald’s lunch on the way home.
