This term, Antarctica Class have loved designing, making, and evaluating pizzas in DT. The children spent some time thinking about the kinds toppings they’d like to put on their pizzas, and what the pizzas might look like. They then cooked their pizzas with these ingredients, focusing on what they tasted and looked like. Finally, after trying their pizzas at home, the children evaluated the taste, texture, and appearance of the pizzas, as well as considering what they learned and what they would do to improve their pizzas if they were to make them again. Making these pizzas was great fun, and the children loved developing their cookery skills! Many thanks to Miss Clark and Mrs Kerns for facilitating our cooking sessions!
