Link School - The Gambia

 

We have a link with Brikama Lower Basic School in The Gambia; pupils have exchanged letters and we receive photos and updates from the Headteacher. We also sponsor a girl called Haddy, who attends a nearby school. Haddy is now 16 and we have followed her academic progress throughout her schooling. Each year we send her a parcel and exchange letters, hearing about her successes and achievements. She is a successful, hard working student who aspires to be a doctor. Recently diagnosed with an eye condition, we have been able to help pay for medical care and some glasses.
