Year 2 have had a fantastic term! They started off by enjoying a great trip to the story museum where they learnt all about what it takes to be a storyteller. They were able to make up their own stories and re-wrote them when back in school. We celebrated Easter in many different ways in school. They all went to Church and sung a medley of somewhere over the rainbow and what a wonderful world. We celebrated the amazing Easter bonnets that the children made as they paraded them around the school! Next Peacock class went to the big reopening of the library and chose a new book for them to enjoy back in class. To finish off the term we learnt all about how bread is made both at home and in a factory. We spoke about the purpose of each ingredient and the importance of using yeast.
