What we’ve been learning about this term …
Our topic this term has been Germany. We have been learning all about the human and physical features of Germany. We learnt about the four points of and how to use a compass.
The children have been painting vibrant, floral landscapes, inspired by the decorative style of Gustav Klimt. Gustav Klimt was an Austrian symbolic painter from the 19th century. The children have been using bold coloured animals and floral patterns to bring their nature inspired scenes to life.
The children visited the Neasden temple and explored the incredible architecture. They were fascinated by all the intricate details and learnt about the amount of work that went into building the temple. The children watched a Hindu act of worship and experienced a snippet of what it would be like to be a part of their culture.
