Last weekend’s Family Craft Day was a huge success!

The workshops were very busy and the feedback from families was extremely positive, including:

“This is such a great way to celebrate the children’s work”.

“What a fantastic atmosphere”.

“It is lovely to have the opportunity for families to attend an event together”.

The purpose behind the Family Craft Day has always been to hold an event where the school community could join together and participate in a range of fun activities. Once again, we achieved that goal as well as making an incredible profit of £501 from the workshops.

I should like to thank the St. Andrew’s staff, SASA, our governors and friends of St. Andrew’s for their support on the day and for making it such a success. Proceeds from the Family Craft Day will go toward the online reading resources which will work alongside our new reading scheme.

Congratulations to the winners and runners up of our art and photograph competitions you made it a very difficult job for our judges Mrs Milligan and Mrs Rowley. The standard set was very high.
