Lord William's School hosted an exhilarating Science Experience Day. Gifted and talented young scientists from various schools in the Thame Partnership came together to explore the wonders of science. The children were divided into year groups and mixed with peers from other schools, fostering collaboration and discovery. Throughout the day, they engaged in four exciting activities: creating lemon batteries in chemistry, exploring the photosynthesis of pond weed in biology, immersing themselves in a captivating planetarium experience, and participating in the thrilling challenge of building the slowest marble run. Impressive skills were showcased by the St. Andrew's children, who emerged victorious in both the Year 1 & 2 and Year 3 & 4 marble run contests, earning a £20 book gift vouchers each. A heartfelt thank you goes to the science teachers at Lord William's for their efforts in organizing this memorable day.
