On Wednesday 31st of January, the year 5/6 girls football team took part in the first tournament of the year. The event was hosted at ASM stadium on the astroturf. Schools such as John Hampden, Barley Hill and Brill took part in the competition. The girls got through to the knockout stages, coming top of their group. They won 2-0, 2,1 and then drew their last game. The girls were then unfortunately knocked out of the competition in the semi-finals. They made the school very proud and looked very smart in the new school kit!
