During Term 1, the children of Year 3 have learnt all about rocks. They have been rock detectives and have investigated the permeability of a variety of different rocks. The fossilization process has been discussed, and the children learned all about the famous palaeontologist Mary Anning. James Carter came to visit and demonstrated how to create a rhyming poem. We visited Neasden Temple, which is right next to Wembley. The children watched a video of how the temple was created; each piece of marble was handcrafted and shipped from all over the world! The children watched an act of worship and experienced Hindu culture.
