We have been learning about the Ancient Egyptians this term. The pupils used iPads to find information about life in Ancient Egyptian times and shared various facts on their question sheet. The pupils also used the VR headsets and Now Press Play to explore and walk through Ancient Egypt, they experienced the pyramids up close and spotted the River Nile too.
In P.E. lessons, Year 3 have been devising Egyptian dances. The children have worked collaboratively to devise sequences of movements for different Ancient Egyptian Gods and to show the pyramids being built. The children are showing great teamwork in these lessons, listening to each other, pooling ideas and learning to 'give and take'. The children devised dances using a variety of heights, with some movements in unison and others in canon.
